Why This Must Be Read: This is a ‘fobwatched’ Nine who meets Rose Tyler. It’s very AU and yet not. If you liked Nine, you will love the ‘human’ version of him. He’s bitter and angry and slowly falling apart. Enter Rose. This is the Rose I loved with Nine in the series: strong, capable, caring and intuitive. A truly fun, compelling story. Not to mention quite steamy!

It’s early in the series and I would have loved to see things play out on the show like they do here. Rory is young and open and Jess is bitter and vulnerable and they make these incredible connections while discussing books. It makes me feel like I’m a teenager again discovering ~feelings~. All of the other Stars Hollow characters, including Lorelai and Luke, are spot on with some great moments with Lane.

As the series goes on, and it spans s4-5, it shows you it's also very much about Atlantis constant struggle against Michael, who is the main antagonist of the series. An interesting and frankly different take to most of the fic I've seen out the for Ronon/Keller this series becomes interesting as you delve deeper in Michael's plans and character's past. Full disclosure: some (purely personal) characterisation points aside this fic does a wonderful job with it's characters, their relationships with each other (romantic and otherwise), and plot.
Also, I'm including this one expert bc before I finished the last fic in the series I was all prepared to write Sam Carter/He Who Shall Not Be Named as a pairing, but then they just had to call him by name. Either way, even if you don't read the fic, this most cannot be missed. ( I am easily amused and like sharing with the world )
