Fandom Category: Avengers
Pairing: Natasha Romanoff/Clint Barton (Black Widow/Hawkeye)
Fic Title: White Blank Page
Author: AlliSnow
Link: http://archiveofourown.org/works/503738
Rating/Warning(s): mature
Genre: Action/Adventure; Drama; Mission fic; Romance
WIP?: No
Why This Must Be Read: This is not only the most interesting take on the whole idea of 'being unmade' I've read so far, but one of my favorite longfics overall. Great writing style, the characterizations are amazing (down to the original characters) and the plot cost me a few hours of sleep because I didn't want to put it down.
Excerpt:
“She didn’t tell you, did she?” asks Rogers carefully. “That she was afraid.”
Clint snorts. He thinks about sitting in a grubby Parisian café across from Nat, telling her about Fury’s issues and not realizing that she was in more danger than he was. He had thought that because her signature weapon wasn’t as obvious as his bow, that because her hands and feet were often the only weapons she needed, she was home free.
