Why This Must Be Read: I really like the mysterious and appropriately spare Guiding Light by madjm. John's dead but a grieving Teyla sees him in her bed every night, asking her why she hasn't come to get him. I do not want to ruin the very original premise for you but this is not a sadfic. The author perfectly evokes the unbreakable (even after death?) spiritual, emotional and mental connection between John and Teyla that leads her to have hope when all is seemingly lost. I also like how she conveys Teyla's faith without being hokey. There's a great sense of team here; Rodney and Ronon support Teyla 200% even when they think she's nuts.
