het_reccersIn addition to any recs you wish to post at any time, the comm will have additional rec challenges issued by the mod.
We will select a new fandom every two weeks, encouraging our members to rec that specific fandom in any het pairing they choose. If you have a fandom in which you would like the mods to issue a challenge, please drop a note on this post. We will try our best to vary it up with as many fandoms as possible, but the more popular ones will likely get more time in our challenge rotations.

Got a favorite pairing? That One True Pairing that is your sole or primary interest in a given fandom? Well, time to REPRESENT! Do a "Shipper's Manifest" for that pairing. This is a public declaration of fannish love for a particular pairing or ship, and our comm is centered around - you guessed it - fanfiction recommendations!
We run a Shipper Manifesto challenge every 4 to 6 months, and you must sign up during the normal sign up period. After signing up, you must be willing to rec at least 10 fanfiction recommendations for the pairing, and include a blurb (as brief or as long as you like) about why you ship it.
We'll provide you with the proper templates to make your Shipper Manifesto post, but basically it's as follows:

Blurb: [Tell us about why you choose to ship this pairing. Talk about the characters, the relationship, the canon, the fandom - be as detailed or as brief as you like! Sell us on the awesomeness of your OTP!]
Then list your recs.
Think you can do 20 recs in at least 5 different fandoms in one month? (Although more recs and more diversity is always, always appreciated here.) We have one special reccer every month that takes on this challenge. SIgn ups here.
