Why This Must Be Read: Because in the words of Maggie Q, "Michael and Nikita fight because they can't have sex," and this fic displays that (accurate) statement wonderfully.  Additionally, it's well-written and perfectly-in-character.

Why This Must Be Read: Because as awesome as this couple is, it can be really hard to find good quality fanfic for them, and this is a good fic.  It is an Alternate Universe fic - which I don't always like - but in this case it works, and it works well.  To use the Author's words: Michael's the recruit, Nikita's the Division op, and she doesn't quite know what to make of him. Secrets and emotions run amok.  Well-written, nicely paced, and with a few twists that I certainly didn't see coming.  Plus, everybody from the series is present and accounted for, though due to the AU nature of the fic, just a little different from how we see them in the series.  Nevertheless, Michael and Nikita are still Michael and Nikita, and this story is a wonderful example of how no matter the circumstances, these two are destined to keep finding each other.
