Fic Title: Friends and Lovers
Author: jecris27

Rating/Warning(s): M, non-explicit sex
Genre: Follows after "Comrades in Arms" through to the end, and then post-war
WIP?: Fin
Why This Must Be Read: I just started rewatching MASH again after not seeing it since I was a kid (I used to watch the syndicated reruns in the late '80s-early '90s) and have now watched all of the first four seasons. Hawkeye/Margaret kinda hit me when I saw "It Happened One Night" on the History Channel one evening and after that, I realized it was the ship for me.
Anyways, enough about me. This fic made me feel things I've not felt reading a fic in a long time. Jecris is fantastic at building the love between these two friends and sometime lovers, and it just hurt my heart to read. She gets the emotions and the characters just right, and I felt emotionally spent and sexually frustrated at the end of the fic, so I take that as a good thing. Sadly this author has only written one story, I'd love to hear more from her.

Fic Title: Vacare
Author: OneSongKatie

Rating/Warning(s): T
Genre: Post-war, by a year or two
WIP?: Finished, I think
Why This Must Be Read: It's Hawkeye and Margaret about a year or two after the war, married, with one son, taking a vacation to visit her mother. Again, I love babyfic, but this one is much more than that. The author deals with the post-war emotions of both of them admirably and the emotions again, get me where it hurts. It's a story about Margaret learning to live again and finding salvation in both men in her life, and it's a real treat to read if you're an H/M shipper.
