Why This Must Be Read: For the fans who felt that Sense and Sensibility ended awkwardly, this is the story for you. Mercy retells the entire story of S&S via letters and diary entries, only she follows through on the friendship that grows between Elinor and Colonel Brandon and allows it to evolve into something more. Mercy also provides a lovely look into Colonel Brandon's life, something of which we only received hints of in canon. Excellently written and very true to the characters of the book. I fell in love with this story at first sight and I think you will too.
