Why This Must Be Read: I just adore this AU story where the simple twist is that Beckett and Castle's professions are reversed: Kate Beckett is a focused, prickly writer of mystery novels and Richard Castle is a larger than life, swaggering, and slightly goofy cop. It's so, so well done and the switch works amazing well with their characters.
