Why This Must Be Read: People probably don't even remember this show. Touching Evil was a USA Network adaptation of a British serial, but it was short lived. Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice's main star) played detective Creegan, who was a cop recovering from a gunshot wound to the head that stripped him of his impluse control and sense of shame. His partner was Susan Branca. Though I watched only the 8 or so episodes of this show that aired, I always loved it to death and was really saddened to see its cancellation.

Now, years later, I hit gold with this fic. Seriously well written, and in-character, this fic plays out one way the obvious sexual tension between Susan and Creegan could have played out. If you watched this show at all, you should give this fic a go.
