Why This Must Be Read: Because the PTB never gave Elizabeth a fitting end, we're constantly looking to fic to find us one (when we're bold enough to accept that she's gone). This fic does it - and it does it by slipping the worlds of SGA and Dollhouse into the same universe, which is not only an awesome idea, but flawlessly done.

Why This Must Be Read: I think the thing I like most about this story is how different it is from actually watching the show. It's a inter-connected series of (eventually) seven stories that are all told from non-Reese and non-Crews points of view. This is outsiders looking in at the two main leads and I love how deft the author is at giving us bits and pieces of the characters she's writing along with bits and pieces of Reese and Crews. The author is also doing a phenomenal job of writing differently for each of her characters. In the last segment (5), Ted felt like Ted and that was completely different than Tidwell (6) and Bodner (7). This is an amazing story, and I can't wait to read the rest of it.

Why This Must Be Read: A wonderful Teal'c voice, this fic focuses his relationships with others besides SG-1, including Ishta. Along with having a very nice mission based plot, this fic is lovely exploration of Teal'c separate from SG-1, taking stock of his life and living it away from the Tau'ri. Ishta through Teal'c's eyes is strong, able, but also real. Their relationship and their approach to it is subtle, full of an easy understanding of each other that I love.
